Reversible Coat – Coral Stripe
A brand new hero piece in our collection, The Reversible coat features a wide striped soft coral pink and natural coloured cotton and backed with a plain Khadi, both in heavier weight, textured weaves. Hand stitched around the collar and bottom hem on the plain Khadi side of the coat are three lines in orange and purple, for a beautiful, subtle detailing.
The top arm seams are then hand blanket stitched together by the ladies of The Stitching Project and is one of the reasons why this garment is a testament to the traditional processes used to make it, and why it is so important for us to do the work that we do to maintain these skills.
This luxurious modular coat is unique in that there are so many ways to style it. It has no collar, so feels casual enough to wear around the house when entertaining, but it’s texture and bold stripe allows for a more elevated styling as a statement coat for your date night outfit. Style this with a basic white dress underneath, or your favourite pants and band tee for that classic look.
