The ANJELMS Project

Februar 28, 2019I met Fiona Wright in March, 2014. As I was preparing my trip to take the template of our growing project to Nepal, my great friend Cindy who had been working in Jaipur for her jewellery range Totomoto told me about this lady she met at the camel fair in Pushkar, Rajasthan. She said: 'You both speak with the same passion about social empowerment through craft, she has a wealth of knowledge in textiles. You should meet and see what you can do together'. Interview with Madeleine Beech
Over the following 4 years, Maddy has designed four prints for the project, each time a bit more mature. To Inspire Or Be Inspired To Make A Difference?
At The ANJELMS Project, our tagline is “Inspire to make a difference” and this statement is at the core of everything we do. This comes from the strong belief I have gathered through my years dealing with communities globally as much as dealing with customers in my 18 years in retail or connecting within my own community. Every individual has a story to tell. By story to tell, I mean each individual has a “why”, something that sets them apart from others, something that excites them, and/or motivates them to be the best person they can be.
