Short Sleeve Top - Parcheesi Print
4 pieces were made in each size.
Our short sleeve light Aran cotton top is a neat round neck shirt with soft pre cuffed sleeves, that falls perfectly, allowing a loose, flowy fit on the body. It is a great basic staple in your wardrobe teamed with a pair of jeans and statement necklace, or our reimagined wide-leg pants! This season the short sleeve top comes in our signature Parcheesi print! Expertly block printed by our master printer Pawan at The Stitching Project in Pushkar. It looks just divine this summer with the matching Nepalese Skirt or plain indigo tie pants. This just goes to show that all of our pieces are trans-seasonal and modular.
Our Parcheesi print was designed locally here in Fremantle, Western Australia by Madeleine Beech, and was inspired by the bright, bold and playful designs of vintage Parcheesi board games. This feeling of nostalgia in our print is achieved thanks to a three steps block-print process by Pawan, our Stitching Project block printer, first printing the Yellow base and then skilfully aligning the Teal and Red colours.
Aran is a very fine handspun handwoven cotton slightly thicker than a voile to avoid transparency.
Each Anjelms piece is signed by the craftsperson of The Stitching Project who was involved in its making.
All our plant dyes are G.O.T.S. certified and hand-dyed on the grounds of The Stitching Project gardens. All wastewater is reused for gardening purposes to reduce wastage and damaging effect on our environment.
Designed in Fremantle, Western Australia. Made ethically in Pushkar, India by The Stitching Project.
Another absolutely gorgeous top - the cotton is light and soft and the print and colours are beautiful.
