4 pieces were made in each size.
Comfort and style in simplicity! Our new pocket tunic top is made of 100% natural handspun, hand-loomed light khadi with red hand block-printed details on each of the front pockets. With 3/4 sleeves, it has a seam under the bust to define the bust and lengthen the body. Easy to slip on, team it with our wide-leg pants or tailored for an effortless day look.
People Gathering Print
The people gathering pattern was influenced through a collection of 18th-century toys originating from Europe, which featured little wooden people dancing together hand in hand. This is a pattern which plays with sentimental ideas attached to history and objects, and the way this can articulate more extensive social conventions dealing with the hindrance or help within harmony and acceptance needed to create a sustainable and ethical community. This can be perceived as the value in which The ANJELMS Project stands by as an ethical initiative and community.
Print designed in collaboration with Perth artists, Madeleine Beech and Ómra Caoimhe.
