Dr. Lalitha Regi is a truly inspiring figure who has dedicated her life to supporting Porgai artisans and improving tribal health in Sittilingi, Tamil Nadu.

As the founder of the non-profit organization, Tribal Health Initiative (THI), Dr. Lalitha Regi has been a beacon of hope for the tribal communities in the region. Through THI, she has implemented various health initiatives that have significantly improved access to healthcare for the tribal people, including setting up a hospital that provides much-needed medical services to those living in remote areas.

In addition to her work in healthcare, Dr. Lalitha Regi has also been a champion for Porgai artisans from The Lambadi tribe who are known for their intricate embroidery work. She has helped these artisans by creating opportunities for them to showcase their work, connect with buyers, and preserve their traditional art forms. By supporting these artisans, Dr. Lalitha Regi has not only empowered them economically but also helped preserve their cultural heritage for future generations.
