This new dress made from our khadi handloom cotton and hand block printed with our new diamond print. With loose 3/4 sleeves tightened by soft elastic, it can be worn as a loose tunic dress with its subtle side splits for ease of movement or use the tie belt for a feminine dress highlight waist and giving the skirt a fuller effect . It can be worn as a light long coat for all layering needs as the winter arrives. The best feature is its invisible side pockets! What more would one want?
Our diamond print is inspired by the vibrant colours of the Nepalese prayer flags and their meanings: white symbolising air, red fire, green water and blue wind. These flags are a beautiful memory of my work in the country and travels with my daughter, Madeleine who designed the print. Together, we have decided that 10% of all sales of our diamond print will be donated to the Prema Metta Orphanage School Trust in Bodhgaya, India.
