Our wrap tie dress is back in a classic you may remember from the Les Indiennes Collection. A full circle cut skirt bottom, with angel sleeves gives the perfect flattering cut to any shaped body. With a wrap-around tie on the waistline, and working with the bold vertical lines of the Indigo mud stripe, the wrap dress gives the perfect hourglass look, even if you aren’t a particularly curvy individual.

Made from our light to midweight Khadi cotton for the most breathable, comfortable wear you have ever felt, these are perfect for the Australian Summer. This dress is a no fuss statement piece that can be dressed casual with a pair of sandals or layered with a denim jacket or blazer in the evenings. Pick it this season in our classic Indigo mud stripe that is a nod to Gaelle’s heritage, inspired by bold French Stripes that are favoured in summer, and symbolic of the French Riviera.

This dress will take you from day to night with a change of accessories, and from summer to winter with a polo or mock neck underneath. As always, our garments are designed in Fremantle, Western Australia. Made ethically from 100% hand-loomed Khadi Cotton in Pushkar, India by The Stitching Project. Designs are hand carved onto wooden blocks. Then Pawan, our block printer at The Stitching Project places each block onto the ink board. This process is repeated a hundred times over with amazing precision and experience to create the perfect patterns.

All of our dyes are Global Organic Textile Standards (G.O.T.S) Certified, and our fabric and processes are Craftmark Certified. Each of our Garments are proudly signed by every craftsperson who has had a hand in making it.

I’m just a fan of a wrap … skirt, top, dress .. you name it! This gorgeous stripe dress is at the top of my heap. I pop it on to run errands, to go to work, for date night, for the office. Last week, I wore it backwards (just to see how it went!) and I LOVED the neckline that way too!
