Reversible Jacket - People Gathering Print
Our reversible jacket is a testimony of the craftsmanship skills of the team of The Stitching Project. On one side the jacket is made from handspun, handwoven in crisp natural mid-weight khadi cotton with vibrant red blanket stitch details. On the other side, the jacket has been hand block printed in our striking People Gathering Print. The print and plain option make it such a versatile piece, easy to dress up and down. The double-layered khadi makes it warm and cosy in winter while breathable and light during the warmer months. Sitting on the hip for a flattering line, with a round neckline allowing you to team it with a beautiful scarf or our crisp collared unisex shirt. This timeless jacket will become your go-to piece every winter to come.
People Gathering Print
The people gathering pattern was influenced through a collection of 18th-century toys originating from Europe, which featured little wooden people dancing together hand in hand. This is a pattern which plays with sentimental ideas attached to history and objects, and the way this can articulate more extensive social conventions dealing with the hindrance or help within harmony and acceptance needed to create a sustainable and ethical community. This can be perceived as the value in which The ANJELMS Project stands by as an ethical initiative and community.
