Oversized Shirt - Hand Print

$97.50 $195.00
| /

4 pieces were made in each size.

A favourite of earlier collections, the oversized shirt in naturally dyed double-dip kashish on natural handspun, hand-loomed khadi can be worn as a top on its own or layered as an overcoat closed or open for a smart look. It has a rounded collar, and side splits for easy movement and allowing you to tie the front for a fresh twist. It has raglan sleeves and a pleat at the base of the back yoke for comfort.

Hand Print

Open palms can indicate a sense of community and can be a sign of honour for the hand-made, and the processes which create a cultural staple through the hand. In this print, Beech and Caoimhe’s intention was to ‘decorate’ a surface which distinguished the pattern as a sign of importance. Therefore the hand becomes a universal symbol, creating a pleasant style relating to contemporary and tribal visual expression through the pattern.

Print designed in collaboration with Perth artists, Madeleine Beech and Ómra Caoimhe.
