Talk about luxurious! This maxi skirt made from our slow machine loomed Bihar silk cotton and handprinted in our new black and white print, will bring the Wow factor to all your special occasions.

With a wide, blanket stitched high waistband and featured back zip, soft A-line for a flattering line, and it still has invisible side pockets for your lippy! Team it up with our matching wrap shirt for a bold look or a simple black cami. A timeless look ticking all ethical standards, what more would one need?

The stitch details on the waist and body are a testimony of the craftsmanship of The Stitching Ladies of The Stitching Project who have made and hand-signed each piece, a unique garment to treasure.

As this is a capsule collection, stock is limited and each piece is uniquely hand embroidered.

Wear-anywhere-forever-item

Swift shipping of the most gorgeously printed skirt on the airiest fabric that you will adore wearing in any season. Wearing mine now in the summer heat with a simple singlet and chunky sandals, and a little neck scarf, or a funky head scarf. For the colder months, this graphic print is the perfect pair/clash with a vintage printed T tucked in, or left out, over a simple skinny turtle neck for added warmth, boots, with a well-loved leather jacket thrown over the top. The slight sheen of this luxurious, thermo-regulating and fast drying silk-cotton mix (probably my favourite fabric) makes this exquisite piece just right with a fine-knit halter neck knit in basic black, or with an oversized, racer-back silk singlet half-tucked, with a shiny leather equestrian boot, or classic horse-bit loafers. Gaëlle is super-responsive and so helpful with queries, she even found me a size that wasn’t listed on the website.
