Nepalese Skirt - Kashmiri Leaf Print
A true fan favourite, the Nepalese skirt is cut and sewn to perfection, falling on the knee to give a drop-crotch pant look that allows ultimate style and comfort for the wearer. The skirt features two deep pockets and an elasticated and drawstring waistband for extra security. This season, our Nepalese Skirt has been printed in our iconic white Kashmiri leaf print over hand-dyed indigo silk cotton that allows breathability and style all in one!
With such a bold print, this one is perfect with a cropped top such as our Tank Tie Top, or with a longer sleeved top and heavy belt in the cooler months to make a statement.
Because hand-dyeing practices are so precise, there have been many metres of silk cotton that haven’t met the standard for previous collections. We came up with this initiative with Fiona to block print iconic Anjelms prints over the indigo dyed fabric in white, which works with the imperfections to create a new story in each garment.
Made from repurposed fabric from The Stitching Project, this collection means a lot to us, as we believe sustainability means that no part of the production goes to waste, and through our ‘Waste Not Want Not’ Program, we are able to turn faults into features.
