Our cap sleeve dress is a favourite for its classic simple lines, which is flattering on all body shapes. A wide boat neck and cap sleeves will flatter ladies with a stronger bust, widening the shoulder and teamed with its knee-length will elongate the body. In the indigo that you know and love from our Les Indiennes collection, the cap sleeve dress is back and more playful than ever, with a divine Hot Air Balloon block printed. A tie belt will allow our shorter customers to create a waist feature and ruched up the top part to create some long lines on the leg. Its classic shape will make it the perfect dress to take for a family summer lunch with your favourite cardigan, a work lunch teamed with a classic blazer, and after-work drinks with a denim jacket.
This season, our indigo dye work has been done by award-winning printer Mr Girish, who is responsible for our Ajrakh print. The indigo produced is a shade darker than our own. Their vat is a traditional Indian vat fed with lime and sugar cake and it is 100% natural unlike many vats in India which have chemical added (synthetic) to accelerate the dyeing process.
