Nepalese Skirt - Parcheesi Print

5 pieces were made in each size.

One of our most popular designs to date, the Nepalese Skirt is beautiful, flowy and breathable. Often mistaken for a pair of pants because of the way the fabric is cut, sewn and falls, the Nepalese Skirt shines in the bright and bold Parcheesi Print. This item is definitely a statement piece and will be treasured in your wardrobe for generations to come. Made from a slightly heavier hand-loomed khadi cotton to add dimension to the beautiful draping effect in the skirt panels, they are hand block printed by our expert team at The Stitching Project in Pushkar. This is a timeless ethical piece that looks beautiful with a statement brown leather belt and your favourite rattan picnic basket. It will look amazing with a plain tee and sneakers or with our peasant top for a perfect spring beach feel.

Parcheesi Print

Our Parcheesi print was designed locally here in Fremantle, Western Australia by Madeleine Beech, and was inspired by the bright, bold and playful designs of vintage Parcheesi board games. This feeling of nostalgia in our print is achieved thanks to a three step block-print process by Pawan, our Stitching Project block printer, first printing the Yellow base and then skilfully aligning the Teal and Red colours.

Each Anjelms piece is signed by the craftsperson of The Stitching Project who was involved in its making.

All our plant dyes are G.O.T.S. certified and hand-dyed on the grounds of The Stitching Project gardens. All wastewater is reused for gardening purposes to reduce wastage and damaging effect on our environment.

Designed in Fremantle, Western Australia. Made ethically in Pushkar, India by The Stitching Project.
