French born designer Gaëlle Beech started her career in fashion working for luxury house Hermès in Paris, and then later in Germany. Learning from the masters of textiles and craftsmanship, she discovered a passion for silk, fine tailoring and traditional handcrafts.
Settling in Australia in 1994, she worked for several Australian designers in women’s and children’s wear.
Travelling with her family throughout Bali, she fell in love with the country, culture, and people. With her Balinese friend Arik, she decided to start a label that would combine the beauty of traditional Balinese skills, such as silk Batik, and the needs of her customers.
Through a Fairtrade Project with Balinese families, Anjel Ms creates a collection of unique designs for a worldly feminine woman who wants easy mix and match quality garments to suit any occasion.
By spoiling yourself or a loved one, you are helping us provide Balinese families with a safe future and a proper education for their children.
